Bo’s Place exists to enhance the lives of those who have experienced the death of a loved one. A non-profit, free-of-charge bereavement center, Bo’s Place offers multiple grief support services for adults, children and families, and provides education and resources for those who assist people in grief. Bo’s Place operates on the belief that it is helpful and healing for grieving children and adults to share their stories, memories, experiences, thoughts and feelings with those who can understand their journey. Bo’s Place offers the only free on-going grief support program in the greater Houston area for children and their families.
Adult & Teen Challenge of the Greater South (ATCGS) is a faith-based, minimum 9-month residential center offered free of monthly tuition for adult men & women struggling with life-controlling issues including abuse, addiction, depression, and eating disorders. Operating six homes and three crisis centers in Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee, residents balance their time between the study of God’s word, learning life skills and job training. ATCGS is a part of the world-wide Adult & Teen Challenge® family with over 200 U.S. based centers and 1200 international centers. Studies have shown an 86% success rate among Adult & Teen Challenge graduates.
Teen and Family Services is committed to providing your teen and entire family the tools, skills, and knowledge to deal with substance abuse problems in a holistic way. We focus on fostering success that will continue after families graduate from our program and provide guidance and strength that will remain with you for a lifetime. At TAFS, our goal is to help your teen achieve continued abstinence, increased empathy, consistency in relationships, help leading a life of fulfillment and success, and improved communication.
